Structural Design
In simple terms, the methodology of finding out safe and economically viable specifications of a structure is called structural design. This whole process is the first stepping stone on the way to the completion of a structure. The most significant aspect of this procedure is that the construction, longevity, and sufficient resistance to natural calamity rests on the proper structural design. From deciding on the right member size (e.g.: beam, column) to factoring dead load and setting the upper limit of the live road, all these things and more are done in structural design. Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC 2020) is the go-to guidebook for engineers to build safe, comfortable, and durable accommodation for the people which we at The Engineers Republic stringently follow. As Bangladesh is an earthquake-prone country, we make all our structures resistant up to 8.0 richer as per BNBC 2020. We design our blueprints and layouts through the latest and most updated versions of ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, StaadPro, All Pile, L-Pile, Robot, GEO5, AutoCAD Civil, MIDAS, etc. to ensure our designs are human error-free.
